Guar Gum is one of the most important ingredients used in Pet Food. It is used as a thickener and can be used to provide required viscosity. It is a worthy additive for pet food because of its thickening capability. Only 1% of concentration can give efficient thickening and stabilizing effect. Guar gum acts as a high soluble fiber in pet food. It also increases the digestibility in animals.
