WHAT IT IS:
CB FHG guar is an ultra clean, excellent gelling, fast-hydrating natural guar gum used in the hydraulic fracturing process in oil drilling industry. It takes only 3 minutes to reach high viscosity in comparison of regular guar gum which takes 2 hours. CB FHG guar products are available in three variants, based on viscosity strength ranging from minimum 35 cps to 45 cps maximum and can be customised as per need.
WHAT IT DOES:
In the oil industry, it is used as a natural polymer, a surfactant and a defoamer because it is ideal for all the rheological requirements necessary in water-based and brine-based drilling fluids. Fast Hydrating Guar Gum Powder is used to regulate the viscosity of the mud solution, hence stabilising and regulating the flowing properties of the drilling muds. It aids in diminishing the friction in the holes, hence reducing the usage of power. It further helps to reduce the losses of water that can occur in a broken geological formation and to cool drilling bits, cementing slurries and continuous fracturing.
